Motion Assist Rolls Out to More Android Devices

Google's Motion Assist feature is now available on more Android devices beyond just Pixel phones. The latest Google Play services update, version 26.37, has expanded the feature to include support for Android 17 or newer and an up-to-date version of Google Play services.

Motion Assist uses moving visual bubbles around the edges of your screen that match a vehicle's movement to help reduce motion sickness. The feature can be customized with options for opacity, color, shape, and whether they change over time.

In addition to Motion Assist, the update also brings improvements and bug fixes for real-time metrics sent from Wear OS watches to phones. Google has also made it easier to find the Driving Do Not Disturb feature.
