The Motley Fool Stock Advisor team has released its latest list of top 10 stocks to buy, and Amazon is not among them. The team's analysis suggests that other stocks may offer better returns in the coming years. Historically, the Stock Advisor's picks have outperformed the market significantly, with an average return of 897% compared to 211% for the S&P 500.

For example, Netflix was recommended on December 17, 2004, and an investment of $1,000 at that time would have grown to $358,037 by November 6, 2026. Similarly, Nvidia was added to the list on April 15, 2005, and a $1,000 investment would have become $1,229,708. These examples highlight the potential for substantial gains from the Stock Advisor's recommendations.

The article also mentions a 'Double Down' signal that previously flashed for Nvidia in 2009. Now, a similar 'Total Conviction' signal is appearing for a company much smaller than Nvidia. The Motley Fool has positions in Amazon, and Parkev Tatevosian, CFA, an affiliate of The Motley Fool, has positions in Amazon as well.
