Mowi Stock Posts Record Q2 Profit Growth Amid Salmon Price Surge
Mowi ASA reported a 23 percent increase in operational profit for Q2 2026, reaching EUR 231 million. This growth comes from a combination of higher prices and increased volumes, with salmon prices rising 6 percent year over year.
The company's Q2 record turnover was EUR 1.60 billion, accompanied by a record harvest volume of 150,000 tons. However, Mowi Consumer Products saw its operational profit decline to EUR 29 million from EUR 52 million in the same quarter last year, due to weaker contracts affecting earnings.
The Goldman Sachs investment bank has initiated coverage with a Neutral rating and a NOK 220 price target on Mowi stock. Analysts on MarketScreener have an average target of EUR 20.74, ranging from EUR 17.92 to EUR 22.88.
