Mr Pibb Makes Triumphant Return After 24-Year Absence
Mr. Pibb, a classic spicy cherry soda, has made its long-awaited return to store shelves after being discontinued in 2001. According to content creator Radioguy, who shared his discovery on TikTok, the original Mr. Pibb is back, but it only took 24 years to get there.
The Coca-Cola Company announced its plan to roll out the drink to select areas of the country, including Florida, Chicago, Las Vegas, Michigan, and California, on October 31, 2025. Later that year, in 2026, Mr. Pibb made its official return across the country.
Radioguy highlighted how the classic soda has a listed price of $5.97 for a package of 12 individual sodas, with a new version called Mr. Pibb Zero Sugar having the same price. He discussed the drink's newest rollout and mentioned that it features 30% more caffeine and a bold, spicy cherry taste with hints of caramel.
However, some viewers expressed their frustration in finding the soda at their local H-E-B stores in Texas. Radioguy responded by mentioning specific locations where Mr. Pibb is available in the state, but it appears that the soda hasn't rolled out to every H-E-B store yet.
