MRC and Amazon Greenlight Sequel to Prime Video Hit 'The Love Hypothesis'

Author Ali Hazelwood's romantic comedy novel 'The Love Hypothesis' has been on Prime Video for just one week, but a sequel is already in the works. The book's publisher announced that 'The Two-Body Problem', which picks up where the first story leaves off, will be released in February. MRC and Amazon MGM Studios are adapting the sequel into a film.

Hazelwood revealed on Instagram that she's written a sequel to her bestselling novel, saying it was something she never thought would happen. She described revisiting the characters as 'an absolute pleasure', and noted that the book will explore Olive and Adam's relationship over several years.

The author warned fans that there are no guarantees for the film adaptation, but given the buzz surrounding the first movie, it seems likely to move forward. Hazelwood also shared a humorous take on the challenges of long-term relationships, saying that 'deciding what to have for dinner' is one of the hardest parts.
