MSFT Price Target Hikes Amid Strong FCF Projections
Microsoft's stock price has seen significant jumps following its July 29 earnings release, and analysts have been revising their revenue forecasts upwards.
The company's free cash flow (FCF) is expected to reach $241 billion in the year ending June 30, 2027, which would be a 36.6% increase from last year's FCF of $67 billion.
Analysts have also revised their price targets for MSFT, with an average target of $567.20, despite the stock's recent rise to $495.40 on August 14.
Shorting out-of-the-money put options is one way investors can set a lower buy-in point and collect income while waiting, as seen in the case of shorting the $425.00 put expiring on September 4, which had a premium of $8.05 but has since dropped to just 36 cents.
