MSPs Urged to Monetize Microsoft Investments
Augmentt, an Ontario, Canada-based Microsoft 365 security and compliance vendor, is helping Managed Service Providers (MSPs) turn demand for security, compliance, and AI into new revenue streams.
The company is using its $18 million Series A investment to expand its platform, deepen its Microsoft integrations, and support the growth of MSPs in their use of Microsoft products.
According to Augmentt CEO Derik Belair, 'Microsoft security and management is such a broad technology integration gap that what we're trying to do is connect everything.' The company's goal is to help MSPs go beyond 365 and into Intune, SharePoint, and Teams, growing the security ecosystem within Microsoft.
Augmentt is also investing heavily in development, including extensive policy baselines, automated remediation, and support for compliance frameworks. Belair sees AI readiness as a major opportunity for MSPs over the next year, particularly with customers considering tools like Microsoft Copilot.
