Mumbai's Parel Cha Raja Transformed into Vibrant Art Installation Using Discarded Bottle Caps

Mumbai's Parel Cha Raja was transformed into a vibrant art installation during Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, thanks to Coca-Cola India and street artists Doodle Mapuls.

The 'Waste to Wonder' project used over 45,000 discarded bottle caps to create a large-scale live art installation depicting traditional performers.

Lavanya Hatwalne, Senior Director, Integrated Operations at Coca-Cola India, said the festival was an integral part of Mumbai's culture and community, bringing people together across neighbourhoods and local spaces.

The initiative aimed to encourage greater awareness around responsible disposal and the possibilities of giving materials a new purpose.
