Muse AI Agent Sparks Concerns Over Potential Disruption to Apple's Services Business

Meta Platforms' (NASDAQ:META) Muse AI agent is gaining attention for its potential to cut Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) out of the checkout process, according to a recent warning from Bank of America.

The bank's analysts maintained their Buy rating on Apple but highlighted the risk that AI agents may increasingly transact for users without routing spending through the App Store.

Muse has gained nearly 30% in the last month versus Apple's 2%, and some traders are questioning how much of an impact it could have on the App Store economy.

Bank of America contributor Courtney noted that Apple is pursuing its own on-device AI, which may limit Muse's potential to disrupt the company's Services business.
