Mutiny Leaked on Amazon Prime Video Hours Before Release
A major embarrassment for Amazon and Lionsgate has unfolded as Jason Statham's upcoming movie 'Mutiny' was leaked on Prime Video hours before its scheduled release. The film, set to hit theaters on August 21, 2026, became available in HD on the streaming platform for a few hours on August 19.
The leak, which has resulted in the movie being pirated and posted online, is not the first instance of a major film being released prematurely. In fact, earlier this year, 'Aang: The Last Airbender' was also leaked before its release on Paramount Plus.
Mutiny follows a disgruntled employee who goes after a gang of thugs aboard a cargo ship after being framed for the murder of his billionaire boss. However, in doing so, Statham's protagonist uncovers a deadly international conspiracy.
