Google may have another fitness tracker in development, according to recent ads showing a mysterious screen-equipped device. The ads, which appeared on YouTube for some users over the past day, feature the refreshed Google Pixel lineup and include a new tracker that is not the Fitbit Air or Pixel Watch 5.

The unknown tracker resembles the Fitbit Charge but with a more oblong display similar to the Pixel Watch 5's UI. It's unclear if this device is real or if it's an AI-generated concept, but its appearance in multiple ads suggests it might be a new product.

Google has not provided any clarification on the tracker, and the situation remains a head-scratcher for now. The release of a new screen-equipped fitness tracker would be surprising given the industry trend towards screen-less trackers.
