NASCAR's COO, Ben Kennedy, is already looking ahead to the next round of media rights negotiations three years from now. The current $7.7 billion deal with FOX Sports, NBC Sports, Amazon Prime Video, and TNT Sports runs through 2031.

Kennedy mentioned that NASCAR will have to study its inventory and scheduling choices before the next cycle begins. He asked if it's wise to go up against the NFL on every Sunday, given their strong presence in Sunday afternoon and night windows.

NASCAR has been growing, with a new partnership starting in 2027. FedEx Freight will become the title sponsor of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series from 2027, marking the first time NASCAR has had an official freight sponsor.
