National Parks Get Ripped Apart by Scathing Google Reviews
Millions of people visit America's most iconic national parks and landmarks every year. While many leave with wonderful memories, some visitors have taken to Google to express their disappointment.
A look at the one-star reviews reveals a range of complaints, from crowds and prices to attractions themselves. Some reviewers were let down by what they perceived as shortcomings in the natural scenery.
At the Grand Canyon, comedian Sarah Schauer joked that it was 'not big enough', sparking a series of similarly humorous reviews. Others panned the park for being too crowded or expensive.
The Golden Gate Bridge did not fare much better, with one reviewer calling it 'The Meh Bridge'. Another critic pointed out that it was 'not golden' and lacked a gate - the latter point likely due to a misunderstanding of the bridge's name.
