National Pension Service Boosts Stake in IBM Amid Quantum Computing Momentum
National Pension Service, a major institutional investor, increased its holdings in International Business Machines Corporation (NYSE:IBM) by 2.8% during the second quarter.
The pension service acquired an additional 64,858 shares of IBM's stock, bringing its total ownership to 2,349,975 shares valued at approximately $660 million.
This is part of a larger trend, as other hedge funds and institutional investors have also been buying into IBM. For example, BlackRock Inc. purchased a new position in IBM during the second quarter worth around $21.59 billion.
