Naviam, an IBM Maximo services provider, is acquiring Cohesive from Bentley Systems. As part of the deal, Bentley will invest in Naviam and become a minority shareholder with a board seat.

The acquisition makes Naviam the world's largest independent IBM Maximo services and solutions provider, serving hundreds of asset owners including the UK's Ministry of Defence and US utility Con Edison.

The combined company plans to integrate Bentley Infrastructure Cloud, Naviam's cloud capabilities, and IBM Maximo to unlock value across the infrastructure asset lifecycle. This includes geospatial data integration and selling and implementing Bentley platforms to both Cohesive's and Naviam's customers.
