Neighbourly has launched a public-facing badge called the Neighbourly Mark, allowing people to see the funding, volunteering, and surplus products donated by businesses to local charities through their platform.

The Mark is clickable and scannable, taking users to the organisation's public Neighbourly profile, which shows recorded donations. Founding partners include Marks & Spencer, B&Q, Sainsbury's, Lidl, Aldi, William Hill, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, Müller, Heineken UK, and Pret A Manger.

Neighbourly claims to have facilitated more than £2.2 billion in social value since 2014, including over £47 million in local grants and funding, 347,000 hours of volunteering time, 358 million meals' worth of surplus food redistributed, and 6,400 tonnes of product donations.

According to Steve Butterworth, CEO of Neighbourly, the Mark provides real-time proof of a business's community giving. Eligibility for the Mark is limited to active Neighbourly partners, confirmed from the platform's own records.
