Netcracker and Google Fiber Honored for Groundbreaking AI-Native Autonomous Operations
Netcracker Technology and Google Fiber have been honored with the prestigious TM Forum Excellence Award for their groundbreaking AI-native autonomous operations. The award, given during DTW Ignite 2026 in Copenhagen, recognizes Netcracker and Google Fiber's achievement in significantly enhancing customer experience, accelerating developer productivity, and improving business performance through a unified operational platform.
The solution, which utilizes Netcracker's AI-native Intelligent Automation Solution deployed on Google Cloud within an Open Digital Architecture (ODA)-aligned environment, unifies network planning, service orchestration, inventory, closed-loop assurance, and AI into a single autonomous operational fabric. This enables real-time automation and continuous optimization across the service lifecycle.
The deployment allowed Google Fiber to deliver its symmetrical 8 Gbps Edge service with five-nines operational availability, ultra-low latency, and enterprise-scale performance. It also accelerated service delivery by reducing activation times from days to hours while supporting thousands of concurrent service requests. Additionally, network planning effort was cut significantly with more informed decision-making, improving network performance and resilience.
Tariq Chowdhury, Head of Architecture at Google Fiber, stated, 'We recognized the need to modernize our operational model as we expanded our network and services like Edge 8 Gig. Netcracker's automation and TM Forum ODA expertise were critical to this transformation, providing the foundation we need to scale faster, innovate, and deliver the exceptional experiences our customers expect.'
