New Amazon Kindle E-Reader Generation Hits the Scene

A fresh update is coming to Amazon's e-reader lineup with the release of the 12th generation Kindle. According to leaked images, this new model will retain its 6-inch screen size but may see some minor improvements to the display.

The design has been tweaked slightly compared to the previous generation, with rounded edges on the display and a relocated power button now found at the top right instead of the bottom.

There are reportedly two versions of this new Kindle, as well as a kids' model that will likely come with an included cover and extended warranty. The color options for the standard models include light blue, green, black, and purple.
