New Twilight Zone Tower of Terror Medallions Debut at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios has introduced a new collectible medallion machine featuring four designs inspired by the iconic The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction. The machine offers guests the option to purchase one medallion for $10 or all four designs for $35.

The designs include a mix of gold-colored and silver medallions. Three of the medallions feature gold finishes, while the fourth has a darker silver finish. The first design showcases Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, and Goofy above the attraction’s wordmark, with stylized, frightened versions of the characters at the bottom. Another design depicts Mickey and his friends tumbling through a purple spiral alongside various items from the Hollywood Tower Hotel.

A third medallion features Goofy dressed as a Hollywood Tower Hotel bellhop, carrying luggage and a room-service tray, set against a black-and-white spiral background. The final design, which is silver-colored, shows Mickey Mouse standing inside a Hollywood Tower Hotel elevator with the phrase “Drop In If You Dare!” engraved around him.

All four medallions share the same reverse design, which features the Hollywood Tower Hotel surrounded by lightning and the attraction’s wordmark. The machine is located beside the interior entrance to Tower Hotel Gifts, the attraction’s exit shop on Sunset Boulevard.
