New Work Foundation Unveils dearCC Career Navigation Platform for Gen Z
New Work Foundation has launched dearCC, a free AI-powered career navigation and mentorship platform designed to help Gen Z jobseekers break through the entry-level hiring freeze. The nonprofit organization was co-founded by former Meta and Salesforce AI executive Clara Shih and technology industry veteran Nick Mehta.
dearCC combines human mentorship, community, and peer networks with real-time labor-market intelligence and AI-powered career tools to help young people navigate a rapidly changing world of work. It replaces job-search isolation with a clear roadmap forward, equipping entry-level jobseekers with the skills and support needed to succeed in the AI economy.
The platform includes an AI-powered jobs explorer called dearCC Field Report, which shows which roles are growing or flatlining; a step-by-step assessment of a jobseeker's LinkedIn profile and resume through dearCC Game Plan; and an online community called dearCC Community that provides role-specific learning modules, guidance, and peer support.
The launch is supported by a multi-year grant and anchor partnership with the Schultz Family Foundation. New Work Foundation has also secured founding support from various individuals and organizations, including Morfit Family Foundation and Salesforce.
