Nico Elgstrand Sat Out Katatonia's China and Japan Shows Due to Visa Issues

Katatonia's bassist Nico Elgstrand has been forced to miss shows in China and Japan due to visa issues. The band announced on Sunday that time-sensitive problems with Elgstrand's visa prevented him from joining them for these legs of their tour.

In a brief statement, Katatonia explained that Elgstrand will rejoin the band in time for their upcoming dates in New Zealand and Australia. He had shared a message expressing his disappointment at missing the China and Japan shows, saying he hoped to see fans next time.
