Nicole Wallace Races to Romance in Amazon MGM's 'Throttled'
Nicole Wallace has landed the female lead in Amazon MGM's romance film 'Throttled', opposite Josh Heuston. She will play Maya Alatorre, a young woman who joins her brother on the racing circuit and falls into a forbidden romance with Noah Slade, played by Heuston.
Wallace was signed to an exclusive talent-holding deal by Amazon MGM after her success in their romantic drama trilogy 'Culpables', where she starred. She also appears in their Spanish drama series 'The House of Spirits' and the upcoming film 'Postcards from Italy', co-produced with Gaumont Italia.
Amazon MGM announced its acquisition of 'Throttled' for streaming earlier this month, with Nzingha Stewart directing from a script by Melissa Osborne. The film is based on the first book in Lauren Asher's bestselling series 'Dirty Air'. Max Handelman and Elizabeth Banks of Brownstone Productions are producing alongside Jennifer Gibgot and Andrew Panay from Ethea Entertainment.
