Nile Taps Zscaler Vet for Top Tech Role

Nile has appointed Srinivas Kavuri as its Chief Development Officer. The move reflects the company's continued focus on product development, particularly in the area of networking and security. Kavuri brings over 25 years of experience to the role, having previously held senior positions at Cisco, Veritas Technologies, Mobile Iron, and CommVault Systems.

At Zscaler, Kavuri led the development of a platform designed to unify multiple cloud services, aligning with Nile's efforts to simplify network operations and strengthen security in enterprise environments. His appointment underscores the growing demand for systems that are easier to manage and less dependent on legacy hardware.

Pankaj Patel, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Nile, said Kavuri has spent his career building infrastructure layers at enterprise scale. 'Srinivas will play an important role in advancing our vision as we continue to invest in the technology and talent required for the AI era,' Patel added.

Kavuri's background spans infrastructure, data management, and security engineering. He holds a number of patents in cloud storage, data management, and security, and has worked at the intersection of networking and cloud systems throughout his career.
