Nippon Life Takes $46.84 Million Stake in Goldman Sachs Group
Nippon Life Global Investors Americas Inc., a major investment firm, has taken a significant position in Goldman Sachs Group (GS), purchasing approximately $46.84 million worth of shares in the second quarter.
The purchase includes 46,310 shares, making it Nippon's 19th largest holding, which accounts for about 1.9% of its total portfolio.
This move comes amidst a surge in institutional investment in GS, with other notable investors like Bank of New York Mellon Corp., Corient Private Wealth LLC, and International Assets Investment Management LLC also increasing their stakes in the company.
