Nokia and Microsoft Unite for AI-Powered Telecom Network Automation
Nokia and Microsoft have joined forces to bring AI-powered network automation to telecom networks. The collaboration combines Nokia's Data Suite with Microsoft Fabric, allowing operators to use AI agents across multi-vendor environments.
The solution is designed for autonomous network operations, where AI assistants can analyze issues, recommend actions, and automate workflows while keeping human oversight in place.
Initial use cases include VoNR assurance, RAN optimization, and predictive maintenance. Nokia said this will enable operators to access trusted data in minutes instead of weeks, reducing the time needed to prepare network data for AI applications.
