Nokia and Microsoft Unite on AI-Driven Network Automation
Nokia and Microsoft have expanded their partnership to develop an AI-driven network automation system for telecommunication providers. The collaboration integrates Nokia Data Suite with Microsoft Fabric's analytics and AI platform, allowing telecom operators to access network data in minutes rather than weeks.
The solution combines prebuilt telco data products from Nokia with OneLake storage, analytics tools, and AI applications from Microsoft. This includes Microsoft 365 Copilot, Foundry, and Power BI. The system is designed for multi-vendor, cross-domain telecom environments and supports hybrid, cloud, and on-premises deployments.
The partnership builds on existing collaboration in areas such as cloud, data, AI, and cybersecurity. Nokia claims the combination will enable telecom providers to move AI from experimentation into everyday network operations, reducing the time required for data preparation and integration.
