Norris Slammed by Steiner for Unprofessional Behavior in F1

Formula 1 driver Lando Norris has been criticized by former Haas team principal Guenther Steiner for his behavior after the Spanish Grand Prix. During the cooldown room, Norris was seen drinking from a can of Coca-Cola despite being told off by an official for doing so.

Norris had just finished third in the race and was approached by an official who asked him to stop drinking the soft drink before heading to the podium. He firmly rejected the request, saying 'I just did a race, so I'm allowed to drink what I would like. Thank you so much.'

Steiner was not impressed with Norris' behavior, stating that as a professional driver, he should know better. 'If you are a professional, you don't do that. End of story,' Steiner said on The Red Flags podcast. 'You're well trained. He shouldn't have done it.'

Steiner also suggested that the incident may have been blown out of proportion due to Coca-Cola's sponsorship deal with F1. 'It was not the smartest thing to do,' he said, but added that he doesn't care because 'now, for Coca-Cola, it worked out pretty good.'
