North Texas Booms with $430M Data Center, Amazon Facility
A flurry of construction projects is underway in North Texas, with major players like Amazon and Colovore Alliance getting in on the action. The most notable project is a $430 million data center planned for north Fort Worth, which will be constructed at the AllianceTexas development.
The Amazon facility at DFW International Airport near Irving has also been announced, though details are still scarce. The company's OTX7 facility at the airport will see new conveyor systems and platforms installed, with an estimated cost of $6.7 million and a timeline from November 6 to January 20.
Other projects include a DSV warehouse in Denton, which is being remodeled and expanded for $1.24 billion, and renovations at Legacy Union One in Plano, expected to wrap up by May 1 with a total cost of $7 million.
