Northern Ireland Seeks AI Ambition Through Dream Space Program
Northern Ireland is positioning itself as an internationally recognized hub for AI innovation. To achieve this goal, the region needs a generation of people confident and skilled in using AI responsibly.
Microsoft's Dream Space program has already reached over 70,000 students across Northern Ireland since its launch in 2019. The program provides free, hands-on learning in STEM and AI to help students build practical skills.
Catherine Doyle, General Manager of Microsoft Ireland, said: 'Northern Ireland has a tremendous opportunity to establish itself as a leader in the AI era.'
The Dream Space hub at W5 LIFE in Belfast is now open for the new academic year. It offers students and teachers resources on technology, AI, coding, computer science, and robotics.
