Norwich's Lanes Ranked Among Top High Streets for Independent Shops

Norwich's Lanes has been named one of the best high streets in the UK for independent shops. According to American Express's Shop Small study, which highlighted some of the most vibrant high streets across the country, Norwich Lanes ranked alongside destinations in Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, and Manchester.

Dan Edelman, senior manager at American Express, said that small businesses play a crucial role in supporting local economies up and down the country. The study focused on areas with a high concentration of independent retailers and small businesses, recognizing unique qualities that set them apart from larger chains.

VisitNorwich describes The Lanes as 'meandering streets' made for foodies, art lovers, and indie shoppers alike. Norwich Lanes was grouped alongside Oldham Street in Manchester and St Mary's Street in Stamford, which took the top spot in the ranking.
