Nscale Secures $3.36 Billion Financing Led by Third Point, Nvidia Commitment Still Pending
Nscale, a London-based company, has announced $3.36 billion in convertible loan-note financing led by Third Point. The initial tranche of $2.36 billion was available to Nscale at closing, with an additional $1 billion commitment from Nvidia expected to fund in mid-November 2026.
The financing is intended to support the company's AI cloud business built around power and liquid-cooled data centers. This infrastructure requires construction, equipment, and operating capacity before it can support services sold to customers.
Nscale plans to use the funds to expand its infrastructure, which will eventually enable the delivery of contracted services to customers. The conversion of convertible loan notes into shares is dependent on the completion of Nscale's proposed US initial public offering (IPO).
