Nvidia Accused of Infringing Data Center Networking Patents

Nvidia Corp. is facing allegations of patent infringement from Texas-based licensing company PulseLink Systems LLC.

PulseLink alleges that Nvidia has been selling products that infringe on five patents related to data-center networking and enterprise network infrastructure since at least May, when the company sent formal notice letters to Nvidia executives pointing out the alleged infringements and offering to discuss licensing agreements.

Nvidia's alleged infringement is said to cover 'foundational technologies' in data-center networking. The complaint adds that despite being made aware of the issue, Nvidia continued to sell the accused products without resolving the matter through licensing discussions or other means.
