Nvidia and Alphabet Set for AI Market Dominance: Analysts Predict Stocks Could Reach $3,000 by 2030
Nvidia and Alphabet are two of the biggest players in the AI race. Nvidia's GPU sales are expected to skyrocket over the next few years, while Alphabet's AI investments are starting to bear fruit.
The companies' success will look different, as Nvidia focuses on selling computing units, while Alphabet is designing its own tensor processing unit (TPU) and outsourcing fabrication to Broadcom. The TPUs are incredibly popular, but could potentially eat into Nvidia's business.
Nvidia estimates that global data center capital expenditures will reach $3 trillion to $4 trillion by 2030. If the company can quadruple its revenue, its stock price is likely to follow suit, trading at a reasonable price tag of 28 times earnings.
Alphabet's growth prospects are also strong, with estimates suggesting it could grow revenue and profits at a 25% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) from now until 2030. This would result in a stock price that more than doubles, making a $1,000 investment split between the two stocks potentially worth over $3,000 by 2030.
