Nvidia and Apple Exempt from Cramer's Sell Discipline
Financial news analyst Jim Cramer has named only two stocks as his 'sacred' investments, exempt from his strict sell discipline. These are Nvidia and Apple, which he believes have earned his trust due to their exceptional management quality.
Cramer cites the case of Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang's appearance on his show in September 2022, where he predicted the growing importance of artificial intelligence for the company's chips. The stock subsequently bottomed out and hit new highs by the following spring.
A similar example is Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, who insisted that his business had not slowed during the Great Recession, even as the broader economy did. Cramer credits both CEOs with accurate calls that have earned him lasting trust.
However, Cramer emphasizes that even sacred status is not guaranteed and warns investors to remain vigilant. He points out that Bed Bath & Beyond's failed $11.8 billion buyback strategy shows how even trusted management can misread a business in decline.
