Nvidia and Einride Partner on Autonomous Trucking Tech
Stockholm-based freight technology company Einride has partnered with Nvidia to develop autonomous trucking technology. The partnership will utilize Nvidia's DRIVE Hyperion platform for heavy-duty vehicles, which Einride will adapt for its own applications.
Einride currently operates hundreds of electric trucks across the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East, including autonomous trucks in contracted customer deployments. The company expects to scale its fleet to 1,500-2,000 vehicles by 2028 based on customer demand, with approximately 80% of that demand suitable for automation in the medium term.
According to Henrik Green, Chief Technology Officer at Einride, 'Building the next generation of the Einride Driver on the NVIDIA Hyperion platform will enable us to scale autonomous deployment across a freight network that's already serving customers today.'
