Nvidia, AWS, and Salesforce Join Forces with Snap on Enterprise AR
Snap's Specs AR glasses have secured partnerships with Nvidia, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Salesforce to bring them into enterprise markets. The company is targeting retail, manufacturing, and field operations with its eyewear.
Salesforce is integrating its Agentforce workplace AI platform into Specs, allowing staff to identify objects, open cases, and update records hands-free. AWS will connect Specs to Amazon Quick, providing a work-focused AI assistant that can help answer questions like 'where does this product sit?'
Nvidia supplies AI agents from its XR software stack, enabling features such as reading rooms, pulling company data, and coaching workers through tasks.
The announcement has not provided commercial details, including pilot customers or enterprise pricing. Despite the new partnerships, Wall Street remains cautious about Snap's stock performance.
Investors are still wary of the consumer pitch for Specs, which launched at $2,195 in June and saw a 10% drop in share price. The company's hardware sales sit far from its core business, with advertising delivering $5.19 billion of Snap's $5.93 billion revenue last year.
