Nvidia-Backed Neocloud Provider Nscale Files for IPO
Nscale, a UK-based neocloud provider backed by Nvidia, has filed its initial public offering (IPO) prospectus with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. The company plans to list on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker NSCL, with Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, and Morgan Stanley as lead bookrunners.
Nscale operates data centers in the UK, Norway, and Texas, with additional partner-run facilities in Europe and the US. The company aims for a valuation of up to $35 billion in its IPO, according to the Financial Times.
Nscale's infrastructure portfolio includes over 25,000 active GPUs and 461,000 active and contracted GPUs, as well as five active and 12 contracted data center sites. The company has significant contracts with Microsoft and Anthropic, and relies almost exclusively on Nvidia GPUs.
