Nvidia is providing up to $105 billion in financing for an artificial intelligence data center in Ohio, supporting 4.25 gigawatts of computing capacity with room for expansion.

The credit will enable OpenAI's new data center at the PORTS-Pike Technology Campus in Pike County, where SB Energy will build and manage the facility through a 20-year lease to OpenAI.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said the financing will secure 'long-lived infrastructure' for OpenAI's AI factories, which can be upgraded with each new generation of compute power.

The deal marks Nvidia's latest move in supporting AI data center buildouts, including a recent partnership with six large asset managers to deploy $500 billion in third-party capital for datacenter projects.
