Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang has spoken out against the warnings of leading AI CEOs, accusing them of having 'ulterior reasons' for calling for a slowdown in AI development.

In an interview with CBS News, Huang said that current regulations are enough to ensure the technology remains safe and profitable.

'Go and read between the lines,' he advised. 'They're actually not asking for more laws. They're asking to be relieved of the laws we do have.'

Huang's comments echo those of President Donald Trump, who said on Saturday that new regulations aren't needed to ensure the tech remains safe.
