Nvidia crushed it in its latest earnings report, exceeding expectations and raising guidance. The company's revenue soared 106% from last year to $96.2 billion, with data center revenue growing 117% to $89 billion.

The growth is largely due to the increasing demand for AI infrastructure, as companies move from experimentation to production-level applications of artificial intelligence. Chatbots have introduced AI to the masses, but the next generation of AI will perform complex tasks that require more compute power and tokens, small pieces of data that AI models process.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang stated, 'compute is revenue.' The company expects revenue growth of 70% next year, significantly higher than Wall Street's estimated 45% increase. This means millions of GPUs and CPUs will be manufactured, installed, and powered up each year going forward, driving demand for advanced memory, high-speed networking, and semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
