Nvidia Crushes Expectations as AI Industry Boom Continues
Nvidia's latest earnings report has left investors excited about its future prospects. The chipmaker saw revenue double from a year ago, reaching $96.2 billion in the most recent quarter. This is a 106% increase from last year.
Revenue from sales to data centers, which account for an overwhelming chunk of Nvidia's business, was $89 billion - a 117% rise from a year ago.
CFO Colette Kress mentioned that the company expects its fiscal 2028 income to grow 70%, beating analysts' expectations of 45%. This news sent Nvidia shares rising about 4% after-hours.
