Nvidia Crushes It, Marvell Keeps Climbing in AI Semiconductor Market
Marvell Technology and Nvidia are two of the leading companies in the artificial intelligence (AI) sector, with both seeing significant revenue growth over the past year. According to data from company filings, Marvell's revenue has increased from $1.3 billion in Q3 2024 to $2.4 billion in Q2 2026, representing a steady upward trend. Meanwhile, Nvidia's revenue has skyrocketed from $30.0 billion in Q3 2024 to $81.6 billion in Q2 2026.
Nvidia's dominance in the AI semiconductor chip market is evident in its far larger total sales and incredible sales acceleration. The company's products play a central role in the AI ecosystem, with customers gobbling up its offerings at a rapid pace. One notable example of Nvidia's success is the Japanese government partnering with the company to launch the world's first national infrastructure dedicated to AI.
Marvell, on the other hand, has seen consistent sales growth despite having much lower sales totals than Nvidia. Its products are key components that are finding customer adoption, indicating demand for its solutions is growing. Marvell's stock price soared in June to a 52-week high of $329.88 after it was added to the S&P 500 index.
