Nvidia Dominates GPU Market as Shipments Reach Record High

The second quarter of 2026 saw a record-breaking 12.5 million desktop graphics card shipments, with Nvidia taking a commanding 90% share of the market.

This number represents the highest quarterly total since Q1 2022 and is despite record-high prices for add-in boards.

Intel's CEO Lip-Bu Tan noted that memory prices have risen five to sevenfold due to a shortage, with Intel currently able to meet only about 50% of customer CPU demand.
