Nvidia Earnings Preview: Five Key Catalysts to Watch

Nvidia, a leader in artificial intelligence infrastructure, is set to release its Q1 FY2027 financial results after market close today. Wall Street expects revenue of $78 billion and non-GAAP gross margins above 74%. The company's stock price has been consolidating within a steeply rising channel, with support at the 0.382 Fibonacci retracement level.

Several factors could move Nvidia's stock after earnings. A strong ramp-up in Blackwell sales would be positive, as well as an increase in non-GAAP gross margins to above 76%. Stronger-than-expected sovereign AI demand and a capital return announcement could also boost the stock.

The biggest risks to Nvidia's earnings include production yield/timing issues on Blackwell, lower than expected guidance, and signs of capex moderation by hyperscalers. The US-China export issue remains an ongoing concern.
