Nvidia Eyes Up to $10B Bet on Anthropic Amid Record AI Lab Valuations

Nvidia is in talks to invest up to $10 billion in Anthropic's initial public offering, which could value the AI lab at as much as $2.3 trillion.

The proposed investment would be a significant bet on the company's future growth, with Anthropic's revenue run rate already exceeding $65 billion by July 2026 and projected to reach $190 billion in 2028.

Nvidia has already disclosed that Anthropic is initially adopting 1 gigawatt of compute capacity on Grace Blackwell and Vera Rubin systems, deepening the commercial relationship between the two companies.

The investment would be a strategic move for Nvidia, which has seen its data center revenue grow significantly in recent years, with Data Center revenue of $89.02 billion up 117% year over year in Q2 FY2027.
