Nvidia Faces Pressure for Half-Trillion Dollar Buyback

Nvidia's boardroom has been challenged by CNBC host Jim Cramer to launch a massive stock buyback program, potentially totaling $500 billion.

Cramer made his comments on-air Tuesday, suggesting Nvidia follow Apple's playbook and return capital at scale.

Apple's approach to corporate buybacks is considered the gold standard, with the company plowing enormous sums back into its own stock instead of chasing acquisitions or ballooning its dividend.

Cramer argues that Nvidia has reached a similar point of scale and cash generation where it should start behaving like Apple does.
