Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 Prices Soar by Up to 39% in Just Two Months
Nvidia's GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards have seen significant price hikes over the past two months. Prices for most models have risen, with some increasing by as much as 39%. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB saw a particularly large increase of 39%, pushing its average price above $800.
The median prices of these graphics cards were tracked by Tom's Hardware from June to August 2026. The data shows that while VRAM capacity is related to the degree of price increases, it is not a clean correlation. The RTX 5060 Ti 16GB and RTX 5070 saw the largest price hikes, both exceeding $800.
For comparison, the launch MSRPs of these graphics cards are now far out of reach for most consumers. In fact, Nvidia's midrange offerings now retail at an average price higher than the RTX 5070 Ti at launch ($749).
