Nvidia's H200 accelerators have started shipping to China after months of regulatory hurdles.

The first deliveries were made to ByteDance and Tencent, with each company receiving around 10,000 units in recent weeks.

This marks the first significant movement of the chips into mainland China since President Trump approved their export last December.

Nvidia had reportedly stockpiled around 500,000 H200s for Chinese customers, but Beijing's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) had blocked orders from flowing in.
