Nvidia HPE and CrowdStrike Hit 52-Week Highs on Sector Optimism
Last week, shares of Nvidia Corp. (NVDA), Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. (HPE), and CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. (CRWD) all reached 52-week highs, driven by sector-wide tailwinds and strong Wall Street sentiment.
Nvidia's stock hit an all-time high of $237.88 on Friday, marking three consecutive days of gains. The rally was fueled by a broader surge in the AI sector. Morgan Stanley reinstated Nvidia as its top pick in the semiconductor sector after meetings with the company's leadership. The analyst highlighted Nvidia's diverse customer base and growth in key areas, setting a $300 price target with an 'Overweight' rating.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise's stock surged over 7% after the company raised its fiscal 2027 Networking revenue growth forecast to a range of high-teens to low-20s, up from the previous 5% to 7%. This prompted Wall Street analysts to raise their price targets, with Daiwa upgrading HPE to 'Outperform' and Susquehanna increasing its target to $70.
CrowdStrike's stock also climbed to a new annual high of $273.54 on Friday, driven by growing demand for AI-driven cybersecurity solutions. TD Cowen raised its price target to $280, citing strong demand and expanding platform capabilities. Despite these gains, retail sentiment on Stocktwits remained bearish for NVDA and HPE, while CRWD was seen as neutral.
