Nvidia Invests $1.5 Billion in Ohio Campus Amid AI Infrastructure Push

Nvidia has made a significant investment in SB Energy and will provide the AI computing infrastructure for OpenAI's Ohio campus.

The company will invest $1.5 billion in SB Energy, which will develop and operate the site under a 20-year lease with OpenAI.

The facility is being designed around Nvidia's graphics processors, central processors, and networking equipment to support large-scale artificial intelligence workloads.

The initial phase of the project aims for 4.25 IT gigawatts of capacity, with an option to add another 3.75 IT gigawatts.
